![]() "How soon will I see results from Nopalea?" "Can my child take Nopalea as an anti-inflammatory wellness drink?"(Here are the answers to these and other Nopalea juice frequently asked questions.)
A: Some people will experience results very quickly after they start drinking Nopalea, sometimes the same day. Most people, however, notice improvement in symptoms after several weeks on the product. The reason for this is that one of the compounds in Nopalea helps the body break the cycle of inflammation. How long a person has had an inflammatory condition and how severe the condition seems to affect how long it takes to notice improvement. The best recommendation for taking Nopalea is to do it in stages, just like putting out a fire. The first stage should be what is referred to as a "loading phase." When you first start taking Nopalea, begin with 3 to 6 ounces a day and continue this dose until you feel improvement (usually within 30 days). After that, you can take as little as it takes to maintain the lowered inflammation and other good effects. For most people, the maintenance amount is 1 to 3 ounces.
A: It is entirely up to you and how your body responds to the Nopalea. Some people do fine taking all 3 to 6 ounces at one time during the day. Others seem to notice that they get improvement after each dose and so will take it in the morning and before going to bed at night. During the loading phase, many people take the product twice daily with good results. After the loading phase, you will have an idea of how your body responds to the Nopalea and you can go down to once a day if desired.
A: Although there is no scientifically advantageous time of day to take Nopalea, many people report naturally taking it in the morning before breakfast. Although taken as a "night cap" before going to bed can be enjoyable as well! ![]() |
A: While some people enjoy Nopalea without anything added to it, others add sparkling water or other fruit juices to their Nopalea. There is no harm in adding other beverages as they will not dilute the effect of Nopalea.
A: Either way is fine. Nopalea is a food and will digest like any other food.
A: Yes. Nopalea is a fruit juice made from the fruit of the Nopal cactus, which is eaten by all of the animals native to the Sonoran Desert. Since Nopalea is formulated for people, check with your veterinarian before introducing it to an animal.
A: As soon as a child is old enough to eat fruit or drink fruit juice they can take Nopalea. Many experts say this is as young as six months old; others say it is best to start fruit and juices after age two.
A: No. Nopalea is Organic and Certified Kosher. However, since the ingredients are "wildcrafted" by the Sonoran natives (defined as "collected in the wild without cultivation"), it cannot be legally "certified" as organic.
A: Although Nopalea contains no gluten, it is not certified to be gluten free. A product that is certified gluten-free must be produced in a facility where there is no chance of cross-contamination with other ingredients containing gluten. Several ingredients in Nopalea are processed in facilities that do not have this certification.
A: Yes. In fact, mixing it with Vital C Crystal Powder amplifies the benefits to your skin. There are plans for skin creams containing Nopalea and Vital C to be offered in the future.
A: We don't recommend it. Many of Nopalea's beneficial properties will be lost to high heat.
A: Yes. If for any reason you are not completely happy with Nopalea, you may request a full refund within 60 days of purchase (does not include cost of shipping). |
